I NEWS IThe Norwegian Spirit in JapanThat's the Spirit!Norwegian Cruise Line's most famous shiprevampedThe finishing touches are being applied in Marseille,France to Norwegian Spirit - the cruise ship which hasundergone an extensive 0 m renovation.According to Norwegian CruiseLine, the fleet's stalwart vesselentered dry dock in January to berevitalised with 14 new venues,additional staterooms and anexpanded Mandara Spa. Newcomplimentary dining venuesintroduced include a main diningroom, new 24-hour eateries andnew bars.Making their debut are Bliss UltraLounge and Spinnaker Lounge,which features the HumidorCigar Lounge. Splash Academy,the children’s waterpark, isbeing replaced with an adultsonlyretreat, a daytime loungefeaturing two new hot tubs anda dedicated bar. Mandara Spawill double in size to nearly650 square m and include arelaxation area with heatedloungers, a new Jacuzzi room,a sauna, steam room and watertherapy experience.“As we continue to introduce newinnovative ships to our fleet, weare committed to ensuring thatthe experiences our guests havecome to enjoy are available oneven our most storied ships,” saidAndy Stuart, President and ChiefExecutive Officer, NorwegianCruise Line. “We are excited toreinvigorate Norwegian Spiritso that she continues to providelasting memories for guests asthey sail to some of the mostexotic destinations around theworld.”The rehabilitated ship will be thefirst in the company’s 16-strongfleet to visit Bali, Jakarta andSurabaya, Indonesia; Beppu,Kumamoto, Nagoya and Tokyo,Japan; Taipei, Taiwan; andYangon, Myanmar. Followingtwo, 20-day exotic expeditionsexploring Greece, Israel, Egyptand Abu Dhabi from Rome; andSeychelles, Madagascar andSouth Africa from Dubai; she willoffer a series of destination-richvoyages to Southeast Asia, Chinaand Japan from Singapore; HongKong, China; and Tokyo andYokohama, JapanThe Atrium, Norwegian SpiritYOTEL & DUETTOENTER TECHPARTNERSHIPThe hospitality brand Yotelhas partnered with Duettoto streamline its revenueprocesses and maximiseprofitability across Europeanoperations.Duetto has developed a suite of cloudapplications to simplify hospitalityrevenue decisions and allow hoteliers to"work smarter", increasing organisationalefficiency, revenue, and profitability.Yotel will be implementing Duetto’spricing application, GameChanger, andits solution for intelligent reporting,ScoreBoard, in eight properties across theglobe, totalling 2,776 rooms.“Yotel is a trailblazer when it comes tohospitality – pioneering the smart hoteland now leading the field with its roboticluggage concierge, Yobot, in the US.
