We work with over 4,000 clients operating in over 100 countries, ranging from small independent travel agents to internationally renowned tour operators. This extensive network gives our hotel partners an immediate global presence, with access to new and lucrative markets. Hoteliers can also adjust their own rates and freesale allocation in just a few clicks though our userfriendly extranet, allowing them to instantly respond to fluctuating demand. All the marketing and distribution is handled by us at no additional cost, including multilingual content translations. For added peace of mind, every booking is guaranteed and promptly paid by Travco, while there is also dedicated 24/7 reservations support and an experienced customer service department. What do you recommend to new trade visitors as the best way to take advantage of the show? With over 110,000 other trade visitors in attendance it might seem overwhelming at first glance. In order to get the most out of the show ITB Berlin – Increasingly International it is helpful to follow a schedule, and of course you must come and visit Travco’s stand in Hall 9 - we look forward to meeting you! ITB Berlin is THE B2B-Platform for trade visitors – an excellent opportunity to meet business partners and to do business, and nowadays just under 40% of ITB Berlin’s buyers come from abroad. As a result, ITB Berlin claims not only the most balanced and international range of exhibitors but is also the industry’s most international event in terms of its trade visitors: ideal prerequisites for business success. In a Survey at last year’s event, it was found that every second trade visitor (49.2%; 2011: 50.2%) holds an executive position. The proportion of those who are responsible for purchasing and procurement decisions within their companies is stable at 84.4% (82.4%). 23.3% of our trade visitors last year were Tour Operators (an increase from 22.7% in 2011) while 16.9% were Travel Agents (up from 14.6% in 2011).
