From those humble beginnings, I’ve watched as this has become not only the signature event for NAWLA, but arguably the best trade association meeting in the forest products industry. Having manufacturers in the booths and wholesalers in the aisles has proved to be a winning formula, one where the networking that we do so well in this industry over the phone and electronically comes alive in faceto-face convention interaction and after-show socializing. I always come away from The Traders Market feeling rejuvenated by conversations had on the show fl oor, during cocktail functions or over dinner with both old friends and new ones. And I always have some new product or service to bring back to put to use in my business. I can’t wait to get to Chicago in November! Continued on page 93
