A Recipe Selected Just for You Corned Beef and Cabbage To celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, many enjoy this classic Irish dish: corned beef and cabbage. The recipe is very easy to make (the Irish aren’t exactly known for their cooking abilities) Ingredients: 3 lbs. corned beef (flavor packet included) 1 cup sliced carrots 1 medium onion (yellow) 2 cups bite-sized potatoes 2 stalks of celery 3 garlic cloves 1/2 of a medium cabbage, sliced Directions: Combine all of the ingredients in a large slow cooker pot with enough water to just cover the food. Cook for five hours. Serve in bowls with juices from the stew. ENJOY! 18
