Dear Viking Guest, I hope this finds you in both good health and good spirits. We may not be traveling together right now, but that means many of us have more time to think about our next journey. For some, it is a chance to consider destinations that are nearby and familiar; for others, it is the exotic, far-flung and once-in-a-lifetime trips that inspire us the most. In addition to our award-winning river and ocean cruises around the world, we have recently unveiled extraordinary new voyages launching in the future that will take you to the ends of the earth, as well as closer to home. Starting next winter, you will be able to visit Charles Darwin’s living laboratory on a small group sailing in the Galápagos Islands. Beginning in early 2022, you have an opportunity to sail on our new Viking Expedition ships to the Arctic and Antarctica, as well as North America’s Great Lakes. And later in 2022, you can be among the first to experience modern river cruising on the Mississippi. We hope that you find the enclosed materials inspiring—and we invite you to plan now for exploration in 2021 or beyond.
