CETadvises applicants to check with theirschool’s study abroad oˆ ce aboutinternal application deadlines to whichthey should adhere.Student Selection° e admissions committee selectsstudents based on their academicperformance, recommendations,seriousness of purpose and desireto participate in the program. CET’sminimum cumulative GPA foradmission is 3.0; exceptions may bemade in special circumstances.CEt ScholarshipsStudents may apply for CETscholarships. Most students also obtainÿ nancial assistance from their ownuniversities. CET can help facilitateÿ nancial aid payments from USinstitutions.Credit & transcriptsCET and its overseas partner institutionjointly issue oˆ cial transcripts that listeach course taken with the correspondinggrade earned and hours attended.For students that need additionaldocumentation, CET can assist inprocuring a transcript directly from thehost university. Students who attendthe Florence, Siena, Jordan or C.V.Starr-Middlebury School in Chinaprograms can also receive a transcriptfrom the US partner university. Creditfor work completed on a CET programis granted at the discretion of the student’shome institution. CET facilitates thisprocess by providing credit recommendations,syllabi and sta˜ support. Mostinstitutions whose students haveattended a CET program have grantedfull credit.Passport & VisaAny applicant without a valid passportshould apply for one immediately, as apassport is necessary in obtaining a visa.While CET provides full assistance inthe visa application process, the decisionto issue a visa is leˇ in the authority ofthe respective embassy or consulate.It is imperative that students submitall materials by the stated deadlines inorder to receive a visa.other Fine PrintApplication fees, payment schedules,cancellation and refund policies,insurance information, and otherapplication and program details maybe found online at:www.cetacademicprograms.com.administrationCET programs are jointly administeredby CET and its partner institutions.Program academics are overseen byAdvisory Boards of faculty from UScolleges and universities.
