Products with a PastMountain Goat BreweryMountain Goat started out in Dave’s backyard in the early 90’s.Dave was cranking out homebrews almost every weekend whena postcard turned up from Cam which said “we need to start amicrobrewery in Melbourne”.After two years of frantic product development in Dave’s backyardand a lot of red tape the fi rst serious Mountain Goat beer wasborn. The Hightail Ale hit the shelves (well around three shelves)in October 97.Today the boys operate their very own microbrewery in Richmond. They craft the Hightail Ale and Organic Steam Ale along withadditional seasonal brews.Mountain Goat has collected a small bag of awards over the last5 years for their traditional, all natural ales and now has about80 bars in Melbourne pouring their beers on tap plus bottled beerdistributed nationally. So why Mountain Goat? Well, a mountain goat’s a big hairy animalthat’s never gonna fall over.Schools ParticipationWe welcome teachers and students from:• Melbourne Girls’ College• Alphington GrammarYoung Business AchieverVeronica Angotti, Make-A-Wish FoundationVeronica is the Administrator, Fundraising & Development forVictoria and Tasmania at the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She is 24 years old and has been working at the Make-A-WishFoundation for 18 months.Veronica’s primary role includes:• To provide offi ce administration and campaign support tothe State Manager and State Coordinator• To be the fi rst point of contact for the State Offi ce asreceptionist• To support Make-A-Wish Australia’s approved externalevents within VIC/TASVeronica is a pleasure to have around the offi ce.
