AMD UNVEILS NEW GAMING AND AI CHIPS

AMD KICKED OFF CES with announcements for its Ryzen 9950X3D and 9900X3D processors. The Ryzen 9950X3D is a 16-core chip for gamers, using 16 of AMD’s Zen 5 CPU cores, plus 32 threads. It also has a 144MB cache, including 128MB of AMD’s 2nd Gen 3D V-cache. The maximum boost clock is 5.7GHz and the TDP is 170W, an increase of 50W over the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D.
