A FEDERAL APPEALS COURT has dealt a blow to net neutrality regulation by ruling that the Federal Communications Commission lacks the authority to regulate ISPs as utilities. The US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit declared that “broadband internet service providers offer only an ‘information service’”.
