Jeremy Ellwood’s recent website article on scorecard submissions talks about integrity and raises many good points. However, the England Golf app is part of the overall problem, isn’t it? The new WORLD Handicap System is designed to enable a more fair and open means of capturing and recording scores, right? Wrong! If I play in Wales, Portugal, Spain or the USA, I can’t use the app to record my score – it doesn’t allow for scores being recorded outside England. What’s the point of that? So, if I ...
