Google disables popular ad-blocker uBlock Origin

Google is disabling the popular uBlock Origin extension from Chrome for some users, forcing them to switch to another tool to keep blocking adverts. It’s a result of Google’s new Manifest V3 technical standard for browsers, which applies across all browsers built on Google’s Chromium software, including Brave, Microsoft Edge, Opera and Vivaldi.
