Making it work

Renovation our whole family life revolved around our front room, with the space multitasking as a kitchen, dining room, living room, playroom and toilet (for our potty-training toddler!) for another five months. Going without a downstairs sink throughout this time was the worst part, so when we finally started planning the kitchen it was one of my favourite projects.
