Come and gone

AFTER bananas came ‘Bones’. Not of the skeleton kind (although there is one, Deaf, trapped in a bottle, skull covered by a balaclava). Instead, in his exhibition at the Gagosian gallery in Mayfair, Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan (of taped-banana fame) is showing a series of panels plated in 24-carat gold—and shot through with a large-calibre gun.
