First female Cup sailor celebrated

The first woman to compete in the America’s Cup is to be inducted into the America’s Cup Hall of Fame. Susan Henn grew up in a family of yacht racers on the Firth of Clyde. Having married a retired Royal Navy officer, she used an inheritance to commission the design and build of Galatea, the first all-steel yacht to challenge for the Cup.
