Quick Machine Recovery to avert Windows boot disasters

Better late than never, Microsoft is implementing a new Windows feature that should prevent a repeat of incidents such as last year’s CrowdStrike calamity. Called Quick Machine Recovery, the new system should allow both IT professionals and Microsoft to recover machines that are trapped in failed boot loops.
