Group apps by category in major Start menu update

You’ll soon be able to group your Start menu apps into category folders, Microsoft has confirmed. It’s the most significant of several changes that will make it easier to control what the Windows 11 menu shows. The new ‘category’ view is similar to the App Library on iPhones and iPads, which groups apps by function, such as Social, Entertainment and Travel.
