UK’s biggest porn site to introduce age-verification checks

Pornhub, the UK’s most popular pornography site, will soon introduce age-verification checks to stop children watching sex. Aylo, the site’s parent company, confirmed it will comply with Ofcom’s new rules, which force all adult sites to use “highly effective age checks”. The measures, due to be implemented on 25 July as part of the Online Safety Act, also cover social media, search and gaming services that provide access to sexual content.
