A stunning new Carbon Garden has opened at Kew, highlighting how carbon sustains life, as well as the amazing potential of plants and fungi to combat climate change. A dry garden demonstrates which plants adapt best to hotter conditions; while a rain garden and ‘bioswale’ – a ditch to manage storm water – show how a managed landscape can reduce flooding and soil erosion.
