When I reflect on the summer season in my garden, it was a disappointing one, unfortunately. I was up against a daily visitor who indiscriminately nibbled and munched her way through all the vegetation. But when a beautiful doe deer honours you with her presence and holds your gaze with those big soulful eyes, it’s almost impossible to find it in your heart to shoo her away.
