The Railway Children

E Nesbit’s classic children’s book gets a superb big-screen treatment from writer-director Lionel Jeffries. Jenny Agutter, Sally Thomsett and Gary Warren are the children in question, having numerous adventures along the railway track near their new home in rural Yorkshire, where their mum (Dinah Sheridan) has taken them to live after their father is wrongly imprisoned for treason.
