materials
we
use
The main differences between fiberstone and ficonstone are the weight, pricing
and finishing. Fiberstone is a lightweight material, in the upper segment of pricing
and originally in a natural finish but further developed to a high-gloss finish.
Ficonstone on the other hand is a slightly heavier material, in the lower segment
of pricing and comes in a more raw and rough finish.

The majority of our product range is made of fiberstone. This material is based on
precious natural stone. Fiberstone consists of a mixture of fiberglass and crushed
stone. These two raw materials ensure a durable material that is suitable for both
indoor and outdoor use at any temperature. The unique characteristics of this
lightweight material, which is virtually the same in appearance as natural stone,
makes this product a better alternative.

Next to fiberstone we also have collections made of ficonstone, a combination of

Het grootste deel van ons assortiment is gemaakt van fiberstone. Dit materiaal
is gebaseerd op het kostbare natuursteen. Fiberstone bestaat uit een mengsel
van glasvezel en steengruis. Deze twee grondstoffen zorgen voor een oersterk
materiaal, geschikt voor binnen en buiten bij elke temperatuur. De unieke
eigenschap van het lichte gewicht en met nagenoeg dezelfde uiterlijke kenmerken
als natuursteen, maakt dit product tot een beter alternatief.

Het grootste verschil tussen fiberstone en ficonstone zijn het gewicht, de prijs en
de afwerking. Fiberstone is een lichtgewicht materiaal, in een hoger prijssegment.
Van origine heeft heeft fiberstone een natuurlijke afwerking, maar ook een
hoogglans afwerking is mogelijk bij dit product. Ficonstone is een zwaarder
materiaal, in een lager prijssegment en is verkrijgbaar in een ruwere, stoerdere
afwerking.

Die Mehrheit unserer Produktpalette besteht aus Fibersglas. Diese Material
basiert auf wertvollem Naturstein. Fiberstone besteht aus einer Mischung von
Fiberglas und Schotter. Diese beiden Rohstoffe gewährleisten ein haltbares

Neben den Fiberstone Produkten haben wir auch eine Kollektion von Ficonstone,
das ist eine Kombination zwischen Fiberglas, Fibercement und Fibersand und aus
gemahlenen Stein.

Der größte Unterschied zwischen Fiberstone und Ficonstone ist das Gewicht, der
Preis und die Verarbeitung. Steinfaser ist ein leichtes Material in einem höheren
Preissegment . Ursprünglich hat Fiberstone eine natürliche Verarbeitung, aber
auch eine hochglänzende Oberfläche ist möglich mit diesem Produkt. Ficonstone
ist ein schwereres Material, in einem niedrigeren Preisklasse und ist in einer
raueren, härteren Oberfläche erhältlich.

La majeure partie de notre assortiment est constituée de fiberstone. Ce matériau
est basé sur de la pierre naturelle précieuse.
Le fiberstone est un mélange de fibre de verre et de poudre de pierre. Ces
deux matières premières garantissent un matériau très dur adapté à chaque
température extérieure et intérieure.
Grâce à son poid léger unique et au fait que ce produit dispose des mêmes
caractéristiques extérieurs que la pierre naturelle, il constitue une meilleure
alternative.

Outre les produits en fiberstone nous avons aussi créé des collections en
ficonstone, une combinaison de fibre de verre, ciment, sable et de la pierre
finement moulue. Ficonstone a un sentiment naturel, dur et lourd.
La plus grande différence entre le fiberstone et le ficonstone sont le poids, le prix
et la finition. Le fiberstone est un matériau léger, dans un segment de prix plus
élevé. À l’origine le fiberstone a une finition naturelle, mais une finition laquée est
aussi possible sur ce produit. Ficonstone est un matériau plus lourd, à un segment
de prix inférieur et est disponible dans une finition plus rugueuse et robuste.

Most of our products can be used both indoors and outdoors.
When products are placed outdoor a different treatment is required
from indoor use.

COVER
• Drill holes in the bottom of the planter. Use a 8-10 mm metal/wood drill.
• Drill several holes, the number of holes depends on the size of the
planter. Document available upon request.
• Cover the holes with mesh, to make sure the soil cannot clog the holes.
• Make sure that planters without feet not directly make contact with the
subsurface. Loose feet prevent this or a plant saucer can be used.
• Cover the inside with a water-resistant inner tray or pond liner.
• Put the planter in the right place.
• Fill the planter with 1/3 of hydro grain.
The hydro grains contribute to the water management and make sure
that your plants grow better.
• Then fill the planter with 2/3 of potting soil and place the plant in the
planter.
• Last you can choose to cover the soil with a decorative layer of hydro
grain, bark chips or groundcover plants.
• After filling the planter, we recommend not to replace the planter. The
weight of the hydro grain and the potting soil could cause damage to
the planter.
• If you directly place a planter without feet on the subsurface, we
recommend to drill the holes at the side of the planter instead of in the
bottom. This best can be done 5 to 10 cm above the ground.
• A piece of duct tape placed where you want to drill the hole, will help
keep the drill bit from slipping
• Fill the planter with 1/3 of hydro grain. The hydro grains contribute to
the water management and make sure that your plants grow better.
• Then fill the planter with 2/3 of potting soil and place the plant in the
planter.
