ABOUT MASCOT

MASCOT is a Danish-owned family business, and we are proud to be one of the

leading manufacturers of workwear. We develop our products in Denmark, while the

majority of our 900+ unique styles are produced under safe and secure conditions

in our own factories in Vietnam and Laos.

Our uncompromising attitude towards quality means that we aim to develop,

produce, market and sell the world’s best workwear – which for us is more than just

the product itself. Customer service, efficient logistics and high security of supply

are also crucial to our customers.

MASCOT® CUSTOMIZED workwear is extremely long-lasting and made from an

extraordinarily high percentage of recycled materials. With many new colours, it is

possible to put together a personal look.

MASCOT® CUSTOMIZED offers unique freedom of movement and new innovative

features. Add pockets that match your profession and place them where you want

thanks to MASCOT’s unique Click Pocket System.

A POSITIVE FOOTPRINT

At MASCOT, we work to reduce our consumption and our waste – and we do so by

considering our entire supply and value chain. This holistic approach allows us to reduce

consumption where it is most optimal to do so while holding back in places where taking

action may hurt other parts of the value chain. It is not individual efforts that count, but

the overall picture.

Suppliers and business partners

We work with all suppliers to reduce the use of chemicals and water in general.

We also always select suppliers according to their environmental profile, and the

vast majority of our fabrics come from suppliers who have both Bluesign® and ISO

14001 certifications.

Responsible production

We produce the vast majority of our workwear ourselves at our two SA8000-

certified factories in Vietnam and Laos. The SA8000 certification is a guarantee

to the outside world and our own employees that we have a safe and secure

working environment and offer good working conditions adapted to local

conditions.

Workwear with long-lasting durability

We produce long-lasting workwear and safety footwear with responsibility for the

environment and people. Long durability means that, over time, the user needs

to buy fewer products. Meanwhile we reduce our overall resource consumption

because we produce fewer products over the same period of time.

Logistics with care

Our production is based in Vietnam and Laos and in our main warehouse in

Denmark. The vast majority of our products are transported between Asia and

Europe using modern container ships. We only work with shipping companies that

are planning to convert their fleet from diesel engines to liquefied natural gas

(LNG).

WITH A HIGH CONTENT OF

RECYCLED MATERIALS

WITHOUT COMPROMISING ON QUALITY

At MASCOT, we want to optimise and reduce our resource consumption, both in our

production and in our products. That is why we use recycled resources in our products

wherever possible – but always without compromising on quality!

Outer material in recycled polyester

We have several products where the main material contains a high proportion of

recycled polyester, including MASCOT’s cotton lining which is made from up to

100% recycled polyester. The recycled polyester primarily comes from recycled

plastic material such as used plastic bottles that are broken down and recycled

again. We also use other used plastic material that is broken down into granules

and recycled into a new resource.

At MASCOT, we are working to phase out the recycled plastic in the polyester and

replace it with recycled textiles, so that our customers’ current workwear can

become new material in the workwear of the future.

Products made from residual material from textile

production

With MASCOT® CUSTOMIZED, we have come one step closer to our goal as

we introduce several products with a high proportion of recycled polyamide, a

residual material from textile production that is recycled into a new fabric. For

example, you’ll find trousers, shorts and 3/4-length trousers in quality 605, where

the main material is made from 89% recycled polyamide, and qualities 617 and

607 in tops, where the main material consists of 86% recycled polyamide.

Put the pockets where you wish with our newly designed

Click Pocket System. A simple click system allows you to

place the pockets where you need them, and you can even

add the specific number of pockets you need for a given work

situation.

need pockets with large compartments, then we have the

solution. The MASCOT® CUSTOMIZED range includes holster
