DESCRIPTION
The ESL120AE is a modern integrated cooker hood for fitting
in top cabinets or stainless steel cooker canopies, for example.
The cooker hood features a built-in control panel on the front.
The ESL120AE can be used for central ventilation systems.
It has a built-in motor-controlled damper that can be adjusted
for basic or forced ventilation.
The damper is activated through the control panel and the
“forced ventilation” indicator lamp lights up. The damper
automatically returns to basic ventilation after max. 60 minutes.
INSTALLATION
The ducting of exhaust air must be carried out in accordance
with the applicable regulations from the relevant authority.
The exhaust air must not be connected to any duct that is
used to extract flue gases from any equipment fuelled by
energy other than electricity such as gas or oil fires, stoves
and the like.

The distance between the cooker and the hood must be at
least 45 cm. For gas cookers, the distance increases to 65
cm. If a higher installation height is recommended by the gas
cooker's manufacturer, this should be respected.
Cut a hole measuring 298 x 451 mm in the base of the top
cabinet. Use the screws provided to fit the cooker hood. Then
fit the appropriate length of spiro duct. Affix it tightly and
appropriately to the cooker hood spigot.

The coocker hood is delivered with wire and earth plug for
connection to earth wall socket, 230 V
An adaptor is mounted on the plug. When used in other
countries but Denmark the adaptor is removed before the
coocker hood is connected to mains supply - fig. 3.
Initial adjustment of the airflow
On delivery, the damper in the cooker hood is set to:
Basic ventilation 20 l/s (72 m³/h) at 120 Pa
Damper setting B 3,7
Noise pressure level = 27 dB(A)
Forced ventilation 40 l/s (144 m³/h) at 100 Pa
Damper setting A 3.8
Noise pressure level = 32 dB(A)
To fine tune the airflow settings, follow the instructions in the
section entitled “Damper settings”.
