Studies may be carried out by the Private Sector – How?
• Section 21 of Law 8.987/95 allows a private entity (e.g. JCF) to propose
feasibility studies to the Government;
• In exchange, if the Studies are utilized by the Government for a bidding
process, the winner of such process will have to reimburse JCF;
• JCF will be able to participate in the bidding process
