E, claro, é imperativo que não abandone a mesa sem experimentar a extraordinária sobremesa, o Manjar das Chagas. The D. Carlos Restaurant is the ideal spot to socialize while enjoying not only the excellent cuisine of the Alentejo region but also a wide range of conventual tastes. With its wooden ceiling and large windows facing to a courtyard of pomegranates, the restaurant offers friendly atmosphere with an excellent service with the hospitality of the Alentejo to its guests. Start with the best cheeses and smoked sausages boards, and then proceed to such specialities as the “Sopa de Beterraba e Abóbora” (Beetroot and Pumpkin Soup), the traditional Cod Confit in Olive Oil with Potatoes and Tomatoes or the Roasted Lamb.
