We made different handcrafts for Halloween: A spider with our hands (4º EI), a talking pumpking (5º EI) and a talking skeleton (6º) EI. We also made some handcrafts for Christmas: A reindeer with our hands (4º EI), a twinkle star (5º EI) and a costume christmas tree, for the Christmas school festival. 10
PRIMARY 1st-2nd PRIMARY We have dealt different topics in the units. In first of primary, we have studied numbers, colours, classroom objects and family members. In second of primary, we have talked about toys, body movements, parts of the house and family members. HALLOWEEN We have talked about Halloween vocabulary. We have asked for “trick or treat” and we have made a haunted house a card. We have danced “Walk like a ghost song” CHRISTMAS We have celebrated Christmas learning songs (“SANTA” and “It´s Christmas Day!!”) dancing ,playing different games and making some Christmas crafts . Other activities In first of Primary, we have gone to the school library each month. We read “Callum the caterpillar”, “The Haunted House” and “Dear SANTA” We made a butterfly life cycle wheel. In second of Primary, ,our teacher borrow us children´s books, we read them at home and then we made a worksheet. To finish the year, we have prepared some Christmas carols to sing at the Christmas festival. Primary have also started learning the jolly phonics of group 1 and 2, so now they know a lot of new sounds of the English language. 11
