De acordo com o gerente geral da Omil, Maikon Koelbel,
o segredo para o sucesso reside na administração
familiar da empresa, fundada por seu avô, cunhados,
amigos e um grupo de investidores, ainda no ano de
1946. “A Omil é mais antiga que o meu próprio pai. Essa
administração mais próxima faz com que todo o corpo
de colaboradores da Omil seja quase como uma família,
e o trabalho é levado neste sentido. Por exemplo, tenho
meu filho e também quero que isso vá para frente e que
gere frutos para a próxima geração”, conta o gerente,
que trabalha desde sua adolescência na Omil.
Entre altos e baixos, a Omil se fortaleceu e buscou
atender diversos países, com forte atuação em toda a
América Latina, com destaque para as exportações em
países como México, Chile e Uruguai. A Omil, inclusive, é
a única empresa nacional com produção 100% brasileira.
“Temos realizado alguns projetos que devem sair do
papel muito em breve, tanto para 2021 quanto para o ano
que vem. Nos últimos 5 anos, temos investido também
no ramo da fundição, com fornecimento de peças fundidas
para o setor agrícola. Aliás, para o mês de março,
estão chegando maquinários novos, para que a Omil
agregue um valor ainda maior para os nossos clientes”,
revela Maikon.

With a modern industrial park, with about 12,000 m 2 ,
Omil produces equipment for woodworking, with emphasis
on planers, molding planers, gang saws, feeders, and
automatic unloaders. Over the last few years, the Company
has also invested heavily in the production of cast iron parts
in grey, nodular, and white iron, expanding its production
capacity to approximately 700 tons per month.
According to Maikon Koelbel, General Manager for
Omil, the secret to success lies in the Company’s family
administration, founded, in 1946, by his grandfather, brother-in-law,
friends, and a group of investors. “Omil is older
than my father. This close administration leads to Omil’s
entire workforce almost feeling like a family, and works takes
this direction. I, for example, have a son, and I also want the
Company to continue to develop and bear fruit for the next
generation,” says the Manager, who has worked since his
adolescence at Omil.
Between the ups and downs, Omil has strengthened and
sought to serve markets in several countries, with substantial
operations throughout Latin America, with emphasis on
exports to countries such as Mexico, Chile, and Uruguay.
Omil is also the only domestic company in the area with
100% Brazilian production.
