COMO VEM SENDO SUA ATUAÇÃO NA IN-
DÚSTRIA MADEIREIRA?
O setor de base florestal sempre se fez presente
na minha história. No passado, eu e meus
irmãos administramos uma indústria madeireira
por longos anos. Atualmente, com apoio da minha
família, esposa Generci, filhos Eduardo, Geane
e Arthur, trabalho exclusivamente com o extrativismo
através do Manejo Florestal Sustentável, e
abasteço as indústrias madeireiras de Sinop (MT) e
região, com a oferta de matéria-prima.
E SUA ATUAÇÃO DENTRO DO SINDUS-
MAD, QUAIS FORAM OS MOMENTOS MAR-
CANTES?
Foram muitos, mas destacaria a forma como
cada presidente anterior à minha gestão conduziu
essa instituição, todos de forma muito competente
junto com a diretoria e equipe técnica.
QUAIS OS MAIORES DESAFIOS QUE JÁ EN-
FRENTARAM NO SINDUSMAD?
A união dentro das nossas entidades junto aos
empresários e os avanços que tivemos com as instituições
e mercado sempre foram desafiadores e
até hoje continua assim.

DE UMA ASSOCIAÇÃO COMO O SINDUS-
MAD?
Um de nossos slogans é: juntos somos mais
fortes. Acredito muito nisso, pois sozinhos vamos
mais rápido, mas juntos vamos mais longe. O Sindusmad
é uma casa democrática, onde prevalece
o coletivo. Todas as opiniões são levadas em consideração
e, com isso, ganhamos força por meio
dessa união e transparência.

THE FOREST-BASED SECTOR?
The Forest-base Sector has always been
present in my past. My brothers and I previously
managed a sawmill company for many years.
Currently, with the support of my family, my wife
Generci, and my children Eduardo, Geane, and
Arthur, the Company works exclusively with harvesting
through Sustainable Forest Management,
supplying forest product companies in Sinop and
the region with raw materials.
WHAT WERE THE DEFINING MOMENTS
IN YOUR ACTIVITIES WITHIN SINDUSMAD?
There were many, but I would highlight how
each president before my administration, along
with the board and technical staff, led this institution
competently.
WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST CHALLEN-
GES YOU HAVE FACED IN SINDUSMAD TO
DATE?
The union within our entities with entrepreneurs
and the advances we have made with institutions
and the market.
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF BRIN-
GING FOREST-BASED COMPANIES TOGE-
THER WITHIN AN ASSOCIATION LIKE SIN-
DUSMAD?
One of our slogans is “together we are
stronger”. I believe in this because alone, we go
faster, but together, we go further. Sindusmad is
a democratic house where the collective prevails.
All opinions are being taken into account; with
this, we gain strength through this union and
transparency.
DO YOU THINK IT’S ESSENTIAL TO PART-
NER WITH OTHER ENTITIES LIKE CIPEM?
Indeed, serious institutions such as Cipem
increasingly strengthen our segment, always defending
the collective and associative. It is worth
