They even offer free classes to help people with difficulties in school. 13. Herbert Spencer Street The place that makes us the angriest is Herbert Spencer Street because it has a lot of noise. 14. SOME INTERESTING WALKS A Walk to Make You Feel Lighter This is a long, exhausting walk from Praça da Cidadania (Citizenship Square) to Hebe Camargo Avenue. You should try to notice people exercising. The most difficult part of this walk is that it’s a long journey. The most interesting parts are seeing and visiting many shops. You will hear the noise of motorcycles and cars. You will smell trees and leaves. This walk will make you feel lighter and more interested. A Walk to all the Sights of Paraisópolis We start our walk at CEU Paraisópolis. There we have a lot of activities and free cultural events. Then, we go to Dr José Augusto Street. Here we have a lot of schools and access to Hebe Camargo and Giovanni Gronchi avenues. Then we go to Itajubaquara Street where we have the most famous bakery in the community, known as Damião. Walking a little bit more we have São José Church, the biggest church in the region. Taking Jangadas Street, we have the commercial area of Paraisópolis. Also, there is the main supermarket of the region, Nova Central. Down the street, we have the main street: Ernest Renan. The DZ7 party and the fair happen there. Also in this street we have the Palmeirinha soccer field where the main matches and tournaments happen. Going ahead in the same direction, we have AMA Paraisópolis, the hospital of the community. A Colourful Walk The walk will begin at Hebe Camargo Avenue and will start at CEU Paraisópolis, which is a school where there are many courses. Then comes the G10 Favela, which is a street where there are several colourful houses with the aim of helping people experiencing homelessness. Then we have the 21
