O ano de 2024 marca os 25 anos de existência da Revista REFERÊNCIA.
Nesse quarto de século trabalhamos para fortalecer e defender a indústria
de base florestal e todas as suas áreas de atuação. Do plantio ao processamento
da madeira, lutamos e nos esforçamos para fazer do setor um exemplo
de trabalho e esforço para melhorar o país e proteger o meio ambiente.
Acreditamos e valorizamos o trabalho árduo de todos que estão no campo,
nas estradas e indústrias transformando a madeira em bens de consumo.
Nosso trabalho é representar e mostrar para toda a sociedade e demais órgãos,
que há um setor que cresce, fomenta economia e preserva as riquezas
naturais do nosso país. Nessa edição, o Leitor irá conhecer um pouco mais
sobre a nova linha de produção da Dinagro, especialista em iscas formicidas
resistentes à água, os vencedores do Prêmio REFERÊNCIA Melhores do Ano,
a melhoria das técnicas no agrossilvipastoril, os destaques do relatório IBÁ
2024, a inovação na avaliação de plantas através de ressonância magnética
e uma entrevista exclusiva com Sabrina Marques Wolf, presidente da AGEF
(Associação Gaúcha de Engenheiros Florestais), relatando a importância da
profissão e os desafios para os novos profissionais.

In 2024, REFERENCIA celebrates its 25th anniversary. Over the past quarter
century, we have worked to reinforce and promote the Forest-based Sector
and its various segments. From planting to wood processing, we are committed
to making the Sector an exemplar of rigorous work and effort to enhance
the Country and safeguard the environment. We recognize and appreciate the
dedication and hard work of all those involved in the production, transportation,
and processing of wood into consumer goods. It is our responsibility to
represent and demonstrate to society and other entities that there is a sector
that is experiencing growth, contributing to economic expansion, and safeguarding
our Country’s natural resources. This issue will provide readers with
further insight into the new production line from Dinagro, a leading provider
of water-resistant formicide baits. It will also showcase the winners of the
REFERENCIA Best of the Year Award, the latest developments in agroforestry
techniques, key findings from the IBÁ 2024 report, innovative approaches to
plant assessment using magnetic resonance imaging, and an exclusive interview
with Sabrina Marques Wolf, President of the State of Rio Grande do Sul
Association of Forest Engineers (Agef), who will discuss the significance of the
profession and the challenges facing new professionals.
