A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT
ACHIEVEMENTS,
DESPITE THE CLIMATE
Alfredo Lang
President of C.Vale
The year 2024, like the previous one, was extremely challenging for Brazilian agribusiness. Droughts,
extreme temperatures and a flood of historic proportions in Rio Grande do Sul strongly affected the
performance of soybeans and corn in practically all regions where C.Vale operates. Associate members
harvested less and the cooperative received a production volume 15.68% lower in 2024, compared to the
previous year. Climate issues and also the sharp devaluation of grains had an impact on C.Vale's revenue,
which fell 9.99% compared to 2023. Despite these factors, the cooperative managed to increase surpluses
by 24.36%, a considerable achievement, considering the difficulties. This result was driven by the good
performance of the meat segment.
C.Vale also managed to take three important steps towards expanding its activities. We stopped
discounting the amount corresponding to one percent of the production sold by members to the
cooperative. As a result, the increase in share capital will come from the values that C.Vale is able to add
to the products it sells.
Another important achievement was the agreement by which C.Vale took over the tilapia production
and processing operations of Paturi Piscicultura, in Toledo (PR). This initiative will allow us to increase fish
processing from 190,000 to 240,000 fish/day in a shorter time frame than expected. The third important
advance in 2024 was the agreement that enabled C.Vale to produce soybean seeds at Corteva's facilities in
Catalão, Goiás. We will begin supplying seeds to our associates in the Cerrado.
In 2025, C.Vale will invest in a large part of its grain units to expand and speed up the receipt and
shipment of soybeans, corn, and other products. We will also continue to increase soybean processing at
our crushing plant until we reach maximum capacity of 3,500 tons/day. These investments will be made
with the caution required by the current high interest rates.
The cooperative will continue to grow because it is reaping the rewards of work that has put C.Vale on
the path to efficiency and competitiveness. A strategy that has made us a financially healthy company in
which good economic results drive social progress through the generation of income, jobs and growth
opportunities.

Egg production in the 50 sheds that are part of C.Vale's breeding farms reached 47,713,493 units

Rationalizing the use of resources that nature offers us is more than just an environmentally responsible
attitude. In addition to reducing the effects of human actions on water, air and soil, this initiative extends
the lifespan of natural resources and contributes to reducing companies' costs. Long before concern for the
environment became fashionable, C.Vale, its associates and employees were already aware of this.
The implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices by the cooperative, starting
in 2024, is the materialization of our concern for the sustainability of the planet. Ensuring the proper use
of natural resources combines the need to be environmentally responsible with the search for greater
efficiency in our activities by reducing waste, a strategy that no one in their right mind can disregard.

Revitalization of C.Vale's administrative center
After celebrating its 60th anniversary, C.Vale began
using a more modern administrative headquarters.
The 47-year-old building was revitalized and resulted
in a 20% increase in area by using the space of
the old supermarket that was vacant. As a result,
several sectors of the cooperative that were in other
buildings were centralized in the new headquarters,
facilitating the service of both members and
customers, as well as suppliers.
The main structure was maintained, but the interior
of the building was completely redesigned, with
better use of space, greater accessibility and new
furniture, providing members, employees, suppliers
and customers with a more functional and modern
environment.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
A year of enormous challenges. This is how 2024 can be defined. Droughts and floods have affected a
large part of the national agribusiness sector, affecting producers' income and limiting C.Vale's performance.
Overcoming these difficulties will require caution in the use of resources by both producers and companies.
A second source of income is always important, whether with a second grain harvest or with livestock,
depending on the producer's vocation.
In fact, vocation is the first step to achieving good results in agribusiness. The second step is the climate,
which depends on our Creator, to whom we also owe our lives and the talent to produce food.
Achievements also depend on teamwork. Therefore, we would like to thank our associates, employees,
leaders, board members, fiscal advisors and executive directors. We would also like to thank the Organization
of Cooperatives of Paraná (Ocepar), customers, suppliers, professional associations, the press, financial
institutions, members of parliament linked to agribusiness and our families.
Adversity teaches us more than success. Just as the night is followed by the sun of a new day, we, rural
producers, will also be able to overcome the challenges that the climate has in store for us.
