<strong>The</strong> airline captain asked all to remain seated in reverence while the<br />

fallen U. S. soldier’s casket was deboarded. That moment, Stillwater<br />

native Major Dan Rooney, a passenger on the flight that day, made<br />

a promise to himself to make a difference.<br />

Major Rooney founded Folds of Honor in 2007.<br />

This Owasso, Oklahoma based foundation is now<br />

a nationwide effort to help provide educational<br />

scholarships to families of fallen and<br />

disabled service members.<br />

<strong>Eskimo</strong> Joe’s proudly partners<br />

with Folds of Honor, designing<br />

a shirt each summer to support<br />

the mission, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the<br />

cause. To date, Folds of Honor has donated upwards of 12,000<br />

scholarships that help students make a path in life. You can help, too.<br />
