R+T Turkey, International Trade Fair for Roller Shutters, Doors/Gates and Sun Protection
Systems, came to a successful end in Istanbul. An increased number of visitors and a high
level of interest from Turkey's neighbouring countries generated a positive mood among
exhibitors and visitors.
More trade visitors at R+T Turkey 2019
Great interest from Balkan countries, the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa
R+T Turkey, International Trade Fair for Roller Shutters, Doors/Gates and Sun Protection Systems,
is proving to be a valued industry meeting point in between the R+T trade fairs in Stuttgart.
The 102 exhibitors experienced an increase in the number of visitors at R+T Turkey. The event
attracted 5,534 trade visitors (2017: 5,207 visitors) from more than 80 countries. Istanbul is an ideal
trade fair venue, especially for Turkey's neighbouring countries: 28 per cent of visitors at R+T
Turkey came from abroad. The top 10 visitor countries included Greece in first place followed by
Bulgaria, Iran, Iraq, Serbia, Ukraine, Morocco, Russia and Israel.
Manuela Keller, Project Manager for R+T Turkey, drew some positive conclusions: "R+T Turkey
once again proved its durability on the Turkish market. A constant number of exhibitors coupled
with increasing visitor numbers shows us that the trade fair will also endure in future independently
of all developments."
Half of the exhibitors came from Turkey and the other half from abroad (China, Germany, Greece,
Korea, Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine). David León Chantres, Export Manager at Expalum (Spain),
confirmed that Istanbul is the right place for the trade fair: "R+T Turkey is an excellent meeting point
for the industry. We met visitors from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Emirates, Kazakhstan
and even North Africa at our stand. Half of the contacts were new customers. We found that
there is great demand for roller shutters, especially high-quality products made of aluminium."
R+T Turkey is the most important industry meeting point for the national market. Görkem Gülenç,
Sales Manager at Ali Bayhan Tekstil (Turkey), confirmed: "We are very satisfied; R+T Turkey
