Araştırma ve gelştrmeye yapılan sürekl yatırımlar ve olumlu müşter dönüşler sayesnde AYPAK, 

30 ülkeye hracat yaparak sektörün referans noktası halne gelmş bulunuyor. 

AYPAK was established in 1997 in Istanbul and continues its activities in a 1200 m 2 

factory in Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone. It manufactures horizontal and vertical 

type packaging machines and flexo printing machines for the packaging of different kinds of 

products in the Food, Chemistry, Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical sectors. 

In general, the types of machines produced are; It covers various types of packaging machines 

such as Disposable Wet Wipes Packaging machines, Horizontal filling and packaging 

machines, Vertical single/multi-line filling and packaging machines, Flexo Printing machines, 

special production machines on the project. Thanks to continuous investments in research 

and development and positive customer returns, AYPAK has become the reference point of 

the industry by exporting to 30 countries.

Üretm hatları üzerndek stasyonlar müşter talebne göre değşmektedr. Ana zncr tahrk, depoztör 

pstonları, depoztör klepeler,kalıp kaldırma üntes, soğutma tünel zncr grubu, soğutma tünel kalıp 

kaydırma grubu ve kalıp boşaltma üntes servo motor kontrollüdür. One shot depoztöründek özel 

CAM-PROFILE programı le dolgu oranı %65’lere kadar çıkmaktadır. Makna kapastes ürün ölçülerne 

ve gramajlarına bağlı olarak 18-20 kalıp/dakkadır. 

Dolum şlem sonrası kalıplar 40+40 = 80 katlı ve her br katı 6 kalıp alan toplam 480 kalıp kapastel 

asansör tp soğutma tünelnde soğutulmaktadır. 

Stations on production lines vary according to customer demand. Main chain drive, 

depositor pistons, depositor flaps, mold lifting unit, cooling tunnel chain group, cooling 

tunnel mold shifting group and mold unloading unit are servo motor controlled. With the special 

CAM-PROFILE program in the one-shot depositor, the filling rate is up to 65%. The machine 

capacity is 18-20 molds/minute, depending on product dimensions and weights. 

After the filling process, the molds are cooled in an elevator type cooling tunnel with 40+40 = 80 

floors and a total capacity of 480 molds, each layer of which takes 6 molds.

1976 yılında VARDAL TİCARET olarak başladığımız yolda, kurumsallaşarak

başladığı bu yolda babamız Nac Vardal’ın büyük emek ve özversyle 

45 senedr sektörde blnr hale getrdğ br frmayız. Bz knc kuşak 

olarak zaten sektörün çnde büyüyen ve aktf olarak deneym bulunan 

kşlerz. Ben 2013 yılında Yıldız Teknk Ünverstes Metalurj ve Malzeme 

Mühendslğ’nden mezun oldum. Mezun olduktan sonra 7 sene 

boyunca farklı frmalarda çalıştım. Çalışırken 2015 yılında gene Yıldız 

Teknk Ünvers’nde MBA yaptım. 2020 yılının başında eşm Ahmet 

Yavuztürk le DOL-MAK Makna’ya geçş yaptık. Kends de 2011 senes 

Sakarya Ünverstes Makne Mühendslğ mezunudur. 2021 Hazran’da 

İstanbul Tcaret Ünverstes Halkla İlşkler ve Reklamcılık mezunu kardeşmz

Yavuztürk answered our questions about the activities of DOL- 

MAK and the work done as the second generation. He stated that as 

the second generation, one of his primary goals is to develop, expand 

and move forward by using the existing potential of the company. 

Since 1976, DOL-MAK A.Ş. What process did it go through? What 

kind of adventure lies behind this success? 

On the way we started as VARDAL TİCARET in 1976, we institutionalized 

and became DOL-MAK A.Ş. We continue on our way by gaining 

even more power with our technological products that we have 

increased and developed our production capacity. We are a longestablished 

company that started in a small workshop, progressed by 

improving itself, taking into account the dynamics of the society and its 

needs, and succeeded in gaining a share in the market for itself, over 

45 years. We are moving forward without compromising our quality 

and customer satisfaction with our production that guides the market 

and is followed. 

Could you briefly talk about the innovations you have made since 

you started at DOL-MAK Makina as the second generation? 

We are DOL-MAK A.Ş. We are a family business. We are a company 

that our father Naci Vardal has made known in the sector for 45 years 

with his great effort and devotion. As the second generation, we are 

people who have already grown in the sector and have active experience. 

I graduated from Yıldız Technical University Metallurgical and 

Materials Engineering in 2013. After graduating, I worked in different 

companies for 7 years. While working, I did my MBA again at Yıldız 

Technical University in 2015. At the beginning of 2020, we switched 

to DOL-MAK Makina with my wife Ahmet Yavuztürk. He also graduated 

from Sakarya University Mechanical Engineering in 2011. In June 2021, 

our brother Sena Vardal, who graduated from Istanbul Commerce 

University Public Relations and Advertising, joined us in September

Could you tell us about your production areas and product groups? 

Industrial Mixers, Industrial Portable Mixers, Powder and Dough Mixers, Warehouses and Stock 

Tanks, Filling - Capping - Labeling Machines, Conveyors, Water Treatment Systems and Transbölümünde

2021 and started to support us in the digital marketing department. First of all, we made 

a general analysis of the company before coming to the company. We created a SWAP 

analysis result by identifying where we are, what can be done and the priority ones to be improved. 

This result shed light on us in creating a short, medium and long-term business plan. At first, we 

integrated an ERP system in our company, as all the work was done on paper, depending on old 

habits. We made stock management more efficient. Considering the demands of our customers in 

the sector we are in, we have modernized the machine groups we produce. We produced our first 

PLC controlled machines. We received product training from our suppliers, who are our solution 

partners, in order to use the developing technology with our staff. 

As the second generation, what kind of activities do you intend to engage in at DOL-MAK 

Makina from now on? 

We use the knowledge, experience and strategies we have gained from different company cultures 

as a guide for ourselves. Today, we are making improvements using the experience we have in our 

own company. Our goal is to develop, grow and move forward by using the existing potential of 

the company. To represent our country and our company in the best way among the international 

leading brands in the sector. We continue on our way by following and applying the developing 

technology by supporting this with continuous trainings without giving up on learning. Our medium 

and long-term goal is to accelerate our R&D studies and to make all our machines work in integration 

with Industry 4.0 and to make our first turnkey project. Automation and digital transformation 

are inevitable in our age.

yaşanan fazla kur dalgalanmaları beklenen yatırımların ertelenmesne 

sebebyet verdğnden dolayı 2022 braz durgun başladı. Fakat 2022 

yılı çn zaten global br krz olduğunu da bldğmz çn hedefmz bu 

krz ortamından mnmum etklenerek seney kapatmak. 2022 çn

How would you evaluate 2021 as a year for DOL-MAK Makina? 

What are your goals and projects for 2022? 

The year 2021 was realized as 40% more than the domestic and international 

sales we targeted based on 2020. Contrary to the markets, 

the years 2020 and 2021 were intense and above expectations for 

our company, depending on the sectors we work in. 2022 started a bit 

sluggish as the excessive exchange rate fluctuations in the last quarter 

of 2021 caused the expected investments to be postponed. However, 

since we also know that there is already a global crisis for 2022, our 

goal is to close the year with minimal impact from this crisis environment. 

Our plan for 2022 will be to innovate in the machines in our 

manufacture by turning to R&D. 

Could you give us some information about your domestic and international 

works that you carry out as DOL-MAK Makina? What kind 

of policy do you follow abroad? 

Our company, which has been working for years without compromising 

its quality policy, has gained an important place in the global market 

thanks to the quality products we deliver in many countries, both in the 

domestic and international markets. So far, we have exported to 40 

different countries in total. Our equipment works successfully in Russian

machines have been working efficiently for many years. All of our production is done in house. We

As DOL-MAK Makina, we have memberships in certain organizations apart from just producing. We 

are members of MAİB, İSO, İTO, AMD and OSO Joint Purchasing. We are actively involved in ISO 

and AMD. We are working so that the Turkish machinery industry can compete in a better market. 

The development of the Turkish machinery industry and the growth of its market share are among 

our main targets. Our expectation from the new generation is that they continue these efforts and 

take over the flag.

Sophisticated work is done without programming knowledge 

Working with professionals and undertaking the most demanding 

tasks, MELFA ASSISTA enables operators to set up peripheral equipment 

such as grippers intuitively and easily with its RT Visual Box 

(Engineering Software). The MELFA ASSISTA setupwizard offers operators 

a more practical and intuitive methodology. MELFA ASSISTA,

Bunun dışında bardaklar çn kâğıt da tedark etmekteyz. İstanbul’da 2, 

Çorum’da 1 adet olmak üzere 150 kşye sthdam sağlıyoruz. İstanbul 

Bayrampaşa’da yer alan fabrkamız 1500 metrekare, Başakşehr’dek 

fabrkamız 750 metrekare ve Çorum’dak fabrkamız se 3000 metrekarelk 

kapalı alana sahptr. 

Oldukça büyük kapastelerde maknalar üretyor, tüm şletmelern htyacını 

karşılayacak çeştl modellere ev sahplğ yapıyoruz. Ülkemzde 

pek çok frmaya yaptığımız tedarkn yanında 30’u aşkın yabancı ülkeye 

maknalarımızı hraç edyoruz.

developments. As Yavuz Makina, we supply state of the art glass 

machines and glass paper in various situations to companies and 

businesses. 

YMCUP's emphasis on quality starts with the selection of raw materials 

and covers all processes from production to delivery of the product 

to the customer. As a company, we have patents for 13 cardboard 

cup and container manufacturing machines. At the same time, we 

succeeded in obtaining our ISO 9001, ISO18001 and ISO 14001 

quality certificates as a result of our outstanding efforts, vision and 

goals. Considering innovation as the main key to sustainable success, 

YMCUP evaluates each new day with a new perspective and attaches 

importance to innovation activities with this awareness. 

Can you share with us your production subject, production 

amount, employment, capacity size, import and export information 

by explaining the activities of your company in the sector? 

Our company produces cardboard cup machines for companies that 

produce paper cups in the sector. We take an active role in areas such 

as cutting, gluing, producing, and producing double-layered paper 

cups. We also supply paper for glasses. We employ 150 people, 2 in 

Istanbul and 1 in Çorum. Our factory located in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul 

has a closed area of 1500 square meters, our factory in Başakşehir 

750 square meters and our factory in Çorum has a closed area of

mühendslermz, ürettğmz maknaların elektrk tasarrufu ve üretm kaltes olarak dünya standartlarının 

üstüne çıkması çn yen gelştrmelerde bulundular. İhracat ağı ve modern gelşmeler takp etmek 

amacıyla dünya çapında düzenlenen fuarlara katılım gösterdk. Ayrıca yurt dışı ve yurt ç reklam ağı 

konusunda öneml yatırımlar yaparak marka değermz katlamayı planladık. En geç 2 yıl çersnde yen 

br tess kurmak ve ürün skalamızı br hayl genşletmek şu ank en büyük hedefmzdr. 2021 yılında 

yakaladığımız vmeye ve gelşmelere bağlı olarak 2022 yılında da büyük adımlar atmayı planlıyoruz.

How did you spend 2021? What are your company's goals for 2022 in terms of growth, capacity, 

a new investment, project, product, R&D work and foreign market? Could you tell us 

about the content of your investments and when they will come into play? 

We have successfully achieved the growth rates we targeted in 2021. We have taken a big step 

by increasing our production capacity with our new factory. In particular, we have added new machinery 

to our newly established factory and our existing factory. We are planning to manufacture 

machines that produce other disposable products by expanding our vision. Our engineers working 

in the R&D department have made new developments in order for the machines we produce 

to exceed world standards in terms of electricity savings and production quality. We participated in 

fairs organized around the world in order to follow the export network and modern developments. 

In addition, we planned to double our brand value by making significant investments in foreign and 

domestic advertising networks. Our current biggest goal is to establish a new facility within 2 years 

at the latest and to expand our product range considerably. 

Depending on the momentum and developments we achieved in 2021, we plan to take big 

steps in 2022 as well. First of all, we plan to make all our models perfect by following the development 

of modern technology. In order to have the best models, our main goal is to bring the 

electricity savings of our machines to the highest level in the conditions of that time. In addition, 

we aimed to open a new factory by bringing the expenses of our factories to the optimum level. 

After reaching our primary goals, we want to put these goals into action without rest and move 

forward without stopping.

Can you tell us about the contribution of your investments 

to your company? 

Our investments will return to us as a new factory in the first stage and 

will increase our production capacity. Apart from this, we will develop 

our customer portfolio with our investments in advertisements and 

our overseas networks. The result of our R&D investments is now reflected 

in our machines as savings and efficiency. 

One of the ways to maintain efficiency in the market is after-sales 

technical support services. As YMCUP Yavuz Makina, what are 

your technical support and after-sales solutions that you offer to 

your customers? 

As YMCUP, we aim to increase the satisfaction of our customers by 

supporting them in the post-sales stages. As a leading company in 

domestic paper cup manufacturing, we provide technical service to 

all our customers. When our customers have any problems with their 

machines, they can call our expert technical team, get professional 

help and solve their problems as soon as possible. With our large 

spare parts inventory, we ensure that our machines always work with 

the efficiency of the first day, and we come to the aid of our customers 

with locally produced parts. 

What would you say about the problems in the sector and your 

suggestions and expectations for the solution of these problems? 

The biggest problem facing us in our industry is competition with 

foreign countries. As in every sector, cheap labor creates an uncompetitive 

environment in our sector. In this direction, our expectation is 

to partially increase the taxes imposed on machines exported from 

abroad. With this step, we will grow by proving ourselves more and 

increase our employment and investments to a large extent. 

Finally, anything you want to add? 

First of all, on behalf of my company, I would like to thank you for having

There are 4 steps to injection moulding: 

• Step 1: Plasticizing and dosing

PLASTİC INJECTION MOULDING - PRODUCTION CONDITIONS WITH TOOL-TEMP 

1. The Importance of Tool Tempering for Injection Moulding 

Tool temperature is among the most important factors in injection moulding. It affects the 

cooling off time and thus the economic viability of production. Quality of the finished part 

is dependent on the crystallinity and imparted stresses. The crucial factor that influences 

the speed at which the heat from the screw can be removed after injection is the surface 

temperature of the tool. Tool tempering is necessary for heating up the tool at the start of 

production and for maintaining the desired tool temperature. If one area of the tool is cooled 

more effectively than another, then the moulded part will cool faster in that area. This can 

result in localised areas of increased internal stress, different shrinkage behaviour of the part 

and warping upon ejection. The dimensional stability of more complex parts is subsequently 

negatively affected. 

The design of the tool form as well as the geometry and arrangement of cooling holes are the 

key factors for ensuring high-quality moulded parts and an even cooling of the tool surface. 

For larger tools, it is recommended to divide temperature control into several circuits so that

determines the optimal tool surface temperature. To ensure 

reliable production, all Tool-Temp temperature control units feature 

electronic flow sensors. The circulation of the medium is constantly 

monitored and an alarm raised if there is a blockage or a sudden drop 

in circulation. Temperature sensors fitted into the unit regulate the 

medium. For precision parts, additional sensors can be fitted into the 

cooling water inlet and return to regulate the inlet temperature. The 

control unit issues an alert if the actual temperature deviates from the 

set temperature. To ensure constant temperature control capability, all 

temperature control units from Tool-Temp are fitted with a process water 

filter. This prevents the build up of deposits in the circuit that affect 

heat transfer and thus the quality of moulded parts.

3. Enjeksyon Kalıplamadak İşlemler 

Adım 1: Plastkleştrme ve dozajlama 

Enjekte edlecek termoplastk, önce granül veya toz halnde dönen br 

vdaya akıtılır. Döndürme, granüller vdanın ucuna doğru hareket ettrr. 

Dönen konveyör vdasının sürtünmes ve eş zamanlı ısıtma, enjeksyon 

üntes çndek granüller ertr. İşlemn devamında, ermş plastk, 

çıkış ağzının bulunduğu vdalı konveyörün sonunda brkr. Bu noktada 

meme kapalıdır. Bu, vda üzernde baskı oluşturur. 

Adım 2: Enjeksyon 

Ermş plastk, büyük br basınç altında br ağızlıktan alet üzerndek 

ladnlere tlr ve boşluğu doldurur. Bu şlem sırasında ortaya çıkan 

basınçlar 500 le 2.000 bar arasındadır. Bu basınçlar, ermş plastğn 

aletn yolluk veya yolluk sstemnden ve boşluğa doğru bastırılmasına 

yardımcı olur. 

Adım 3: Basınç Uygulama ve Soğutma 

Enjeksyon kalıplama prosesndek sonrak adımlar presleme ve soğutmadır. 

20 la 120°C arasında, alet 200 la 300°C arasında olan ermş 

plastkten çok daha soğuktur. Ermş plastk bu nedenle soğumaya 

başlar ve malzemenn donma noktasında katı hale gelr. 

Soğutma sırasında, hem boyutsal kararlılığı hem de kalıplanmış parçanın 

yüzeynn dokusunu ve kaltesn olumsuz yönde etkleyeblecek 

br büzülme meydana gelr. Bu büzülme, sıvı plastğe daha fazla basınç 

uygulanmasıyla karşılanır. Bu basınç uygulaması durduğunda, vdalı slndr 

üzerndek meme kapatılır ve br sonrak parça çn kütlenn dozajlanması 

ve plastkleştrlmes başlayablr. Bu arada kalıptak malzeme, 

parçanın sıvı çekrdeğ katılaşana kadar soğumaya devam eder. 

Adım 4: Kalıptan çıkarma 

Takımın çıkış tarafı açılır ve kalıplanmış parçayı dışarı tmek çn pmler 

takım boşluğuna yerleştrlr. Döküm parçalarını kalıplanmış parçalardan 

çıkarmak neredeyse her zaman gerekldr. Bu, ayrı br çalışma adımında 

veya kalıptan çıkarma sırasında otomatk olarak yapılır. Sprueless kalıplama, 

br sıcak kanal sstemnn kullanılmasını gerektrr. Parça kalıptan 

çıkarıldıktan sonra süreç baştan başlar.

3. Processes in Injection Moulding 

Step 1: Plasticizing and dosing 

The thermoplastic to be injected is first funneled into a rotating screw in 

granulate or powder form. The rotation moves the granules towards the 

end of the screw. The friction from the rotating conveyor screw and simultaneous 

heating melts the granules within the injection unit. Further 

along in the process, the melted plastic accumulates at the end of the 

screw conveyor where the outlet nozzle is located. The nozzle is closed 

at this point. This generates pressure on the screw. 

Step 2: Injecting 

The molten plastic is pushed under great pressure through a nozzle 

into the sprues on the tool and fills the cavity. The pressures that 

arise during this process are between 500 and 2,000 bar. These 

pressures help press the molten plastic through the sprue or sprue 

system of the tool and into the cavity. 

Step 3: Applying pressure and cooling off 

The next steps in the injection moulding process are pressing and cooling. 

At between 20 and 120°C, the tool is much cooler than the molten 

plastic, which is at 200 to 300°C. The molten plastic therefore starts to 

cool down and turns to a solid at the material’s freezing point. During 

cooling, shrinkage occurs that can negatively affect both the dimensional 

stability and the texture and quality of the surface of the moulded part. 

This shrinkage is countered by further application of pressure onto the 

liquid plastic. Once this application of pressure has stopped, the nozzle 

on the screw cylinder is closed and dosing and plasticizing of the mass 

for the next part can begin. The material in the mould meanwhile continues 

to cool until the liquid core of the part has solidified. This is usually 

sufficiently solid for the part to be removed from the mould. 

Step 4: Ejecting from the mould 

The ejection side of the tool is opened and pins are inserted into the 

tool cavity to push out the moulded part. It is almost always necessary 

to remove the sprue from moulded parts. This is done either in a 

separate work step, or automatically during ejection from the mould. 

Sprueless moulding requires the use of a hot channel system. Once 

the part has been removed from the mould, the process starts over 

again from the beginning.

The oldest settlement of the city is a perfect fit for tourists. It is home to many important 

structures such as St. Barbara Church, St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Roman Tower of 

Babel, Amr Ibn El As Mosque, Ebu Serga Church and Coptic Museum. Old Cairo, one of the oldest parts

Al-Azhar Mosque 

Han El Hall Çarşısı’nın karşısında bulunan El-Ezher Cams badete 

972 yılında açılmış. Değşk kapı ve mnareler le dkkat 

çekc yapı, aynı anda 20.000 kşnn badet etmesne olanak 

sağlıyor. Kahre’nn Müslüman Mahalles’nde bulunan cam, Fatımler 

dönemnde açılmıştır ve zaman çnde İslam dünyasının en 

öneml eğtm veren kurumlarından brne dönüşerek El-Ezher 

Ünverstes’nn temeln oluşturmuştur. 

Located opposite the Han El Halil Bazaar, the El-Azhar 

Mosque was opened for worship in 972. The remarkable 

structure with its different doors and minarets allows 20.000 people 

to worship at the same time. The mosque, located in the Muslim 

Quarter of Cairo, was opened during the Fatimid period and over 

time, it became one of the most important educational institutions 

of the Islamic world, forming the basis of Al-Azhar University. 

Step Pyramd 

Mısır’ın üçüncü hanedan dönemnde MÖ. 2630’da 

nşa edlen Basamaklı pramt, Fravun Dşçaşı 

ve alesnn cenaze tören çn tasarlanmış. Antk 

Mısır’da Mastaba olarak adlandırılan mezarlar 

nşa edlr ve krallar bu mezarlarda muhafaza edlrd. 

Ancak Fravun Zoser dönemnde, Mastaba 6 

katlı versyonu olan ve kralın adını taşıyan yapı tarhtek 

lk pramt olarak günümüze ulaşmıştır. Basamaklı 

Pramt, Antk Mısır’ın efsanev mühends 

İmhotep öncülüğünde başlatıldı. Pramdnn altına 

nen 11 geçt mevcuttur ve çersnde cenaze 

odası, fravun mezarı ve tapınaklar vardır.

The Step pyramid, built in 2630, was 

designed for the burial of the Pharaoh Dentist and 

his family. In ancient Egypt, tombs called Mastaba 

were built and kings were kept in these tombs. 

However, during the reign of Pharaoh Zoser, 

the 6-storey version of the Mastaba, bearing 

the name of the king, has survived as the first 

pyramid in history. The Step Pyramid was initiated 

under the leadership of the legendary engineer of 

Ancient Egypt, Imhotep. There are 11 passages 

going down to the bottom of the pyramid and 

there are the funeral chamber, the tomb of the 

pharaoh and the temples.

The 18th International Packaging Fair ‘Hispack’ was held at 

the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via Exhibition Center between 

24 - 27 May. Hispack Fair brought together 600 direct exhibitors and 

1100 represented brands to show tangible results and new applications 

in sustainability, digitalization and packaging experience. The 

fair helped the industry and consumer sector generate profits and 

transform their processes and products.
