OFFICIAL GAZETTE ENGLISH GOVERNMENT PRINTING AGENGY f EDITION -+-^+-E=rf-B %swmmmsi No: 1171 THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 1950 Price 28.00 yen MINISTERIAL ORDINANCE Ministry of Transportation Ordinance No.12 February 23, 1950 The Enforcement Regulations for the Marine Pilot Law (Ministry of Transportation, Economic Stabilization Board Ordinance No. 1 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows : Minister of Transportation OYA Shinzo Ministerial Ordinance%for Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Regulations for the Marine Pilot Law In Article 21 paragraph 1, "Thirty times or more of navigation on; board vessels as a master with the ports within Tokyo Bay, Nagoya, Yokkaichi, Hanshin and Kammon Pilot Districts, or twenty times or more of such experiences with the ports or water areas of other pilot districts" shall be amended as i'fifteen times or more of navigation on board vessels as a master with the Kammon District, or ten times or more of such experiences with the ports or water areas of other pilot districts/* Supplementary Provision :' This Ministerial Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation. ..RULES AND REGULATIONS Foreign Exchange Control Board Regulation No. 1 February 23, 1950 The Foreign Exchange Control Board amends a part of the Fiscal Regulation concerning Imports and Payments (Foreign Exchange Control Board Regulation No. 3 of 1949) as follows: Chairman of Foreign Exchange Control Board KIUCHI Nobutane Item (4) of Article 2 shall be amended and item (5) shall be added thereto as follows: (4) Payment of various charges (within purview of C.I.F.) incidental to foreign trade under -1_ Article 2 item (2) of the Cabinet Order or consular invoice fee included in the value of export contract shall be made in the currency or through the special account in or through -which payment for such export is to be made. However, any person desirous of effecting the said payment shall present to a foreign exchange bank the evidences as specified in Attachment No. 4-A. (5) Payment of various charges incidental to foreign trade under Article 2 item (2) of the Cabinet Order involved in import of goods shall be made in the currency or the special account in or through which payment for import is to be made. However, any person desirous of effecting the said payment sfrall present to a foreign exchange bank the evidences as specified in Attachment No. 4-B. The following lists shall be added next to Attachment No. 3: Attachment No. 4 Evidences Required for Payment A. Evidences as provided for in Article 2 item(4) : 1. Certified debit memorandum with details of shipment in duplicate and one each copy of non-negotiable bill of lading and letter of credit for payment of freight. 2. Certified debit memorandum with details of shipment and insurance in duplicate and one copy of letter of credit for payment of insurance premium. 3. Bill or other written evidence supporting the payment in duplicate and one copy of letter of credit for payment of various charges incidental to foreign trade other than the preceding two 4. items. List of cases in duplicate for payment of consular invoice fee. B. Evidences as provided for in Article 2. item (5) : 1.
