V loÀskémroce âeská rafinérskáve své litvínovské rafinériiuvedla do provozu novou technologickoujednotku - visbreaker - a leto‰ní rok bude zásadní pro v˘stavbufluidního katalytického krakování v kralupské rafinérii, která posvém uvedení do provozu v roce 2001 umoÏní spolu s dal‰ími souvisejícímiinvestiãními opatfieními splnit pfiísné kvalitativní parametry pohonn˘chhmot, jeÏ jsou v Evropské unii pfiipravovány pro uvedení v platnostod roku 2005.Nové kapacity pfiinesou rovnûÏ zv˘‰ení objemu v˘roby hodnotn˘ch ropn˘chproduktÛ, vedle dal‰ích i zmínûn˘ch pohonn˘ch hmot, pfiedev‰ímbenzínu. Tomu musí odpovídat i energická a flexibilní obchodní strategie,která osloví vût‰í mnoÏinu zákazníkÛ neÏ dosud a poskytne v‰em vût‰írozsah a kvalitu sluÏeb. Vûfiím proto, Ïe na-‰e spoleãnost tyto v˘zvy pfiijme a naplní ke spokojenosti akcionáfiÛ, zákazníkÛ,zamûstnancÛ a obyvatel regionÛ, ve kter˘ch âeská rafinérskápÛsobí.Dear Friends,Seen from our perspective,the year 2000 marks not onlya major change of date butalso poses a number of challengesto âeská rafinérská,to the industrial branch it isengaged in as well as to thewhole Czech Republic.One challenge facing theCzech Republic is the preparationfor its accession to theEuropean Union. This bringsto fuel producers and distributorsthe task of terminatingthe production and sales ofleaded petrols and replacingthem with unleaded fuels.Also under preparation is theapplication of a suitable additiveto make unleaded fuelsusable also for the owners ofolder cars with unadjustedengines.The quality of fuels andother products is one of themain concerns of our company’sinvestment developmentprogramme. Last year, âeskárafinérská’s Litvínov refinerylaunched into production a newtechnology unit - visbreaker.This year will be crucial for the construction of a fluid catalytic crackingunit in the Kralupy refinery. After commissioning in the year 2001, thisunit is to make it possible, together with other related investmentmeasures, to meet the strict qualitative parameters of fuels which arebeing prepared in the European Union to be introduced in 2005.âeská rafinérská’s new production capacities will also raise theshare of valuable oil products in its output. This applies to petrol in particular- in addition to the above mentioned fuels. These changes mustbe reflected in the company’s dynamic and flexible business strategythat will address a higher number of customers than today and offer allthe clients a greater scope and quality of services. This is a challengefor each and every employee of âeská rafinérská.Indeed, challenges and their implementation represent a genuinedriving force of progress.
