Abstract<br />
This paper is about the issue of gender discrimination. Drawing from<br />
various articles and international organization studies, it discusses how<br />
inequality between male and female gender still exists despite advancement<br />
in global economy, and that of women’s rights in the develop world. From<br />
abortion of female fetus to murder of adult women simply because of their<br />
gender, the degrees and intensity of the examples provided to illustrate<br />
gender inequality and biasness vary from different parts of the<br />
world. Through these examples, this study aims to make the readers aware<br />
how these conditions may be considered not only as a violation of basic<br />
human rights, but also as a crime against humanity.<br />
