I. MAKE A POWERFUL VIDEO
PRESENTATION IN ENGLISH
WHICH INCLUDES:

A SKIRT, A SHIRT…):

Presenting your personal work (portfolio,
sketches, clothes, extracts of video from
personal fashion shows, etc…) - Max. 4
mn
Presenting the creative project including
the making of the garment (the whole
process through, rough sketches, toiles,
patterns, sewing, fittings, etc) - Max. 3
mn
Answering the question in the sealed
envelope which has to be opened live in
front of the camera. This should be filmed
at once (no cut, spontaneous answer..
It is important to play the game.
Any doubt about the respect of the process
may lead into the rejection of the
application) - Max. 3 mn
EVALUATION CRITERIA: the jury will assess
the content of the video, your ability
of expressing and communicating your
creative universe, its evolution and its
major sources, as well as the quality of
your presentation (including the technical
part).
III. THE PORTFOLIO:
It has to be creative and follow this subject

PROTECT ME FROM WHAT I WANT
The theme is to be expressed through
form / fabrics / colors.
EVALUATION CRITERIA: the interest and
strength of your concept and the innovative
process of your research, which
will be obvious through the cut, the
fabrics…
The portfolio is a mean of presenting your creative universe. A whole freedom is left to you
as for its contents and format. However, the following elements should imperatively be
included:
. A selection of 15 silhouettes among the best of your portfolio. Enclose technical drawings
of 10 of them (front, side, back).
. Add designs for for 5 accessories of your choice (bags, shoes, belts, sunglasses) - min. 1
shoe and 1 bag .
EVALUATION CRITERIA: the quality of your drawings in terms of creativity (strength of the
concept developed and precision), the coherence and the professional quality of the presentation.
Important: the creative project (the garment) and the portfolio will not be sent back to you unless specific
request at the time of the submission. It will be your responsibility to take care of the transportation
costs and pick-up. If you are accepted, IFM will keep the creative project and the portfolio.
