Innovation Factory Center
Innovation Factory Center “IFC” is a hub for innovation,
digital fabrication, practical education and R&D. It is based on the
vision of a team of Omani inventors and initiated and supported by
Information Technology Authority “ITA”.
The IFC facility will be located at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM)
on an area is 2618 sq.m and it will be launched in October 2016.
Key activities
1. Innovations consultations such as conceptualization, modeling &
prototyping.
2. R&D programs (basic, applied & development research).
3. Innovation Lab (digital fabrication lab).
4. Education & Training programs (foundation education programs,
student’s internship program, 1to1 & group training sessions).
