Arrival at the airport of Bologna, transfer to your
hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
16/04: Bologna
After breakfast, join your local guide for a guided visit
of Bologna. It is a lovely town with an active cultural
life. It is proud of its university – the first in Europe
indeed! Take a walk under the arcades, peep into
one of its bookshops and observe its students – this
is how you will feel the spirit of the town! See the
Piazza Maggiore, the San Petronio church, and the
Asinelli towers.
Easter lunch with a special menu at a typical osteria.
In the afternoon you will take a walk in Ferrara –
together with Florence and Mantua it was an
important town of the Renaissance art. It has a
charming historical centre, where you will find a
graceful brick cathedral. The town is also famous for
the bicycles – you will see many of them! Return to
your hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
17/04: Modena and the Ferraris
Breakfast and departure to Maranello, where the
famous Ferrari museum is located. It illustrates the
history of the bright red Ferraris – you will see
various models and thematic expositions. Besides,
be prepared for a breathtaking experience - a F1
simulator that will give you a sensation of a real F1
pilot!
In the afternoon
you will visit the
factory of the
world-famous
Aceto Balsamico di
Modena – the
balsamic vinegar,
produced right
here. The tasting of
this precious
vinegar is included of course! Dinner and overnight
stay at your hotel.
18/04: Departure
Breakfast and transfer to Bologna airport.
