3 nights. Arrival /Departure: Rome
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at the airport Roma Fiumicino, where you will meet
your tour leader. A private transfer will be arranged for
you to reach your hotel. Check in. Lunch at the hotel.
After lunch, be prepared to discover Rome in an active
way - a 2-hour tour on a Segway. Together with your
guide you will discover the famous landmarks, such as
the Piazza del Popolo, Pantheon, Piazza Navona,
Palazzo Chigi, etc .
In the afternoon you will take a minicruise on the Tiber
River! Embark at the St. Angelo Bridge and you will be
able to admire Rome from water, cruising past the
highlights of the centre of the eternal city. An
“aperitivo” - glass of wine is included!
Dinner in the city centre – the menu consists of typical
Roman specialties.
Sample menu:
- Carpaccio di manzo con rucola e pachino / beef carpaccio with
rucola salad and pachino tomatoes
- Tonnarelli cacio e pepe / tonnarelli pasta with sheep cheese
Pecorino and black pepper
- Abbacchio allo scottadito con patate arrosto / lamb ribs with oven
potatoes
- Panna cotta alla yougurt con frutti di bosco / panna cotta with
yoghurt and wild berries
- Wine and water included
Day 2: Colli Romani
After breakfast, Leave the busy city centre and proceed
to the Albani Hills, a region just outside Rome, famous
for the volcanic lakes and various pretty villages, such
as Castel Gandolfo, where the pope’s summer
residence is located, Nemi, lying at the Nemi Lake, and
Frascati.
Lunch in a typical restaurant agriturismo (not forgetting
about the fresh wine from the region – frascati). Return
to Rome.
After dinner at a central restaurant, you will follow in
the tracks of James Bond in the film “Spectre” during
his nighttime car chase in Rome. From the comfort of a
sleek black van, you’ll zip around the city, experiencing
the narrow, winding streets of the historical centre and
seeing key spots from the film. “Shaken not stirred”
Martini included. We’ll take you behind the scenes,
revealing how the real Rome differs from the version of
the film. During this evening tour, experience the
energy, excitement and spectacular beauty of the
Italian capital after dark.
Day 3: The seven hills of Rome
An original tour by Vespas, stopping in the most
suggestive panoramic points of Rome. This tour will
give you a birds-eye view; with the help of our drivers
and maps of the city, you will be able to identify the
monuments and quarters of the Eternal City. You will
pass by the Piazza del Quirinale, The Trinità dei Monti,
the panoramic Pincio Terrace, Sant’Angelo Castle, the
Colosseum and Circus Maximus ( a limited number of
the available Vespas)
Lunch at a central restaurant. Afternoon free.
Day 4: Departure
Transfer to the airport and departure.
