Haywood Elementary is located in a high
poverty area of south Nashville. We serve
a diverse group of students, representing
at least 22 different countries. While our
families are not able to give monetarily,
they actively participate and volunteer
regularly for school events. Harvest at
Haywood is a way for our school and
community to give back and provide much
needed and appreciated support for our
scholars and their families. Though our
students face many challenges, we teach
our students empathy and perseverance in
order to prepare them for life.
