EBOTSE HOA’S ANNUAL
PICNIC WITH POTJIE & BRAAI COMPETITIONS
This year was the most successful and enjoyable event thus far.
The 4th annual picnic with Potjie Competition and Braai Master
Competition, added for the first time this year, was held at the
East Rand Speed Boat Club on Sunday, 28 August 2016. The
weather was absolutely perfect so gazebos and picnic
equipment were set out from very early that morning and the
first fires and gas burners were lit around 09:00 already. At
15:00, a total of 16 potjies and 2 braai plates were entered for
the competitions. There were also several other braais and
potjies prepared simply to enjoy for lunch. The spirit of all the
picnickers who mingled, chatted and joked about who was
cooking the best dish, was certainly something to be enjoyed!

So, diarise the last Sunday of August, 2017 and come have
yourself a jolly good time at our 5th annual picnic with Potjie and
Braai Competitions!
