watched the video, Dr. Stephen Krashen Plenary KOTESOL International Conference 2011, in which Dr. Krashen
discussed the importance and power of free voluntary reading. Imagine you have a classroom full of students who are
diverse in English language ability and ethnicity. How will you create lesson plans for free voluntary reading? Will you
select the texts for students or let them select their own (justify your response from the text and the webpage)? How will
you make the learning interesting and applicable while enforcing the relevancy of grammar skills achieved through free
voluntary reading? Discuss your process for developing the lesson, activity, or assignment and how it will be evaluated.
Guided Response: Read at least two of your classmates posts and help enhance their ideas with added resources
and/or assessment strategies. Be creative, and enjoy this process. The more you share, the more you learn.
