When we look at the multitude of areas in which psychologist can provide services, one of the biggest issues<br />
we find ourselves observing, is the psychologist who has placed him or herself in a multiple relationship, which<br />
the APA Code of Ethics (St<strong>and</strong>ard 3.05) refers to as: a psychologist who has entered into a professional role<br />
with a person while entering into another role with the same person. The two roles that psychologists may<br />
sometime find themselves in are therapeutic <strong>and</strong> forensic, while both are professional in nature there are<br />
several differences between the two roles. However, despite these differences we will look at the fact that<br />
psychologists can in fact operate between the two roles.
