Le changement est
inhérent au progrès
La rue « Vara de Rey » sur la photo, a beaucoup changé parce que là-bas, il y a beaucoup
de voitures, de personnes, d’hôtels, d’arbres. Les rues sont moins spacieuses parce
qu’il y a plus de bâtiments et la vie semble plus stressante, mais heureusement
aujourd’hui n’est pas égal, grâce à que récemment a été rénovée et elle est retourné
à être comme était avant.
Autrefois, il n’y avait pas beaucoup de bâtiment ou hôtels… les rues étaient spacieuses
et on pouvait marcher tranquillement

J'ai trouvé une carte postal ancienne du village où j’habite, « Santa Eulalia ». On peut
observer comme il a changé dans moins de 50 ans.
La plage, le port sportif ou la promenade maritime, n’existaient pas, tout était cultivé
des hectares du champ. Les maisons étaient dispersées, même si nous pouvons voir
des constructions qui existent encore aujourd’hui, surtout les hôtels ; le village était
en cours de développement urbain.
Vraiment, Santa Eulalia a changé, aujourd’hui la zone centrale du village est assez
construite et nous avons presque tout : des écoles, un centre médical, de magasins,
un marché avec des produit locaux, une offre variée de restaurants etc. Récemment,
des améliorations ont été apportées dans la promenade maritime et peu à peu
c’est piéton, c’est important pour les voisins puissent se promener tranquillement.
Honnêtement, j'espère qu’il y aura des améliorations mais sans détruire le paysage.

Ici, sur ces photos, on peut voir les changements qui ont souffert deux des quartiers
les plus emblématiques d’Ibiza : Marina et Dalt Vila.
Autrefois, les murailles et les remparts de Dalt Vila servaient de refuge contre les
pirates et la plupart de la population qui habitait cet endroit survivait de la pêche.
Évidemment, de nos jours, l’activité économique a été diversifiée grâce au secteur
des services, propulsé par le tourisme.
La cathédrale, le château et nombreuses maisons seigneuriales émergèrent pendant
la Renaissance et heureusement aujourd’hui, nous les pouvons jouir.
Les maisons simples et cubiques semblaient teindre de blanc toute la colline, comme
unes escaliers à la mer. En effet, avant, les matériaux de construction étaient la pierre
et la chaux. Maintenant, nous construisons avec le béton.
À ce moment-là, la plupart des bâtisses avaient les toits plats et un seul étage.
Aujourd’hui, il y a plusieurs de bâtiments qui sont devenus immeubles résidentiels
avec plus d’un étage.
La densité de population a augmenté, surtout à la ville d’Ibiza. Avant, les touristes
seulement étaient pendant l’été. Maintenant, il y a beaucoup de gens qui ne sont pas
d’Ibiza, mais ils vivent ici pendant toute l’année car qu’ils l’adorent.
Le tourisme est devenu comme la porte du divertissement, des loisirs, de la vie, de la
culture.
Autrefois, le quartier de Dalt Vila, il y avait des lanternes pour s’éclairer et personne
ne vivait la vie nocturne. De nos jours, les nuits se remplissent de lumière, de vie, de
bruit, de gens qu’y fait le plus fréquenté et agréable d’y flâner. Il y a quelque chose à
voir, des magasins, des bars, des restaurants. Il est devenu un lieu très vivant.
Aussi, le port des voyageurs et des marchandises a souffert ce changement. Avant,
il fonctionnait comme un élément essentiel pour l’économie de l’île. Il y avait peu
de bateaux et en plus, ces étaient des pêcheurs. Dans les années 60-70, l’ouverture
touristique exigeait une nouvelle dimension du port. De nos jours, le port a
expérimenté une grande transformation : plusieurs quais pour placer les nombreuses
embarcations parce qu’il y a plus de bateaux et la plupart sont des touristes.
Donc, la ville d’Ibiza a gagné un espace avant inexistant : le port de plaisance Botafoch.
C’est un espace avec boutiques de luxe, cafés, restaurants… Un lieu chic, de luxe et
cher pour vivre et manger.

When we are at home we like enjoying a
glass of wine or beer and share meals together.
Above all, when we reach home
after a busy day at work, we know that
at our place we can relax and re-charge
our batteries. This home is well-known
as the multicultural house since we host
people from all over the world.
Pets are allowed, it’s a non-smoking house.
Rent is 400 euros a /month, utilities included,
plus one month deposit which
will be refunded when the contract finishes.

Beautiful and bright
room in a countryside
house.

The house is located in the neighbourhood
of Can Tomas, between Sant Antoni
de Portmany and Sant Rafel. It is a
detached family house in the countryside
and there is just one house close,
with very friendly and kind neighbours.
There is a bus stop very near, just ten
minutes walking and you can go to Ibiza
or to Sant Antoni.
The house has a very spacious and bright
living room. There is a big fireplace for
the winter, which keeps the house very
warm. In front of the room there is a very
spacious bathroom with a large shower, a
modern ceramic washbasin, a high closet
to keep your wash bag and other stuff.
We have a hairdryer and air straighteners,
as well, which you can use.
The kitchen is also bigger than average.
We have a lot of appliances because we
love cooking so you can use them too if
you need it. Outside of the house there
are two terraces, one of them is a glazed
terrace so you can use it all year round.
There is a huge field with a lot of fruit
trees such as: fig, lemon, orange, apricot,
pomegranate, plum, carob and almond
trees. We also have a little organic garden.
We are looking for a neat, kind and
friendly person who likes pets because
we live with two dogs and two cats. We
prefer non-smoking people. The room
is the brightest in the house. There is a
big bed, two nightstands and a big wardrobe.
The window faces to the field so
you have the best views.
The price for the room is 500€ all included
(wifi, water and electricity).
