SAFETY TIPS
3 Vision Tips to Keep You Safe this Halloween
1. Avoid decorative contacts that are not prescribed by a doctor.
Only buy FDA-approved products from retailers who require a prescription.
If you do not have a contact lens prescription, obtain a valid prescription
from your eye care professional.
2. Do not block your vison with masks and accessories.
Make sure that any masks, wigs and accessories do not obscure your field
of vision. Any costume that blocks peripheral vision can be dangerous,
especially for children!
3. Carry a flashlight.
Always carry a flashlight with you to help avoid any tripping hazards on dark
walkways and paths. Flashlights will also help keep you and your loved ones
visible to cars and others on the street.
Always discuss questions and concerns with your eyecare professional.
