Koşullara uyum sağlayabilenler
ayakta kalacak
satışların önemi her geçen gün artıyor. Bu aslında tüm dünyadaki trend durumunda.
Sektörümüz bu konuya hızla adapte olmalı. Firmalarımız bu alanda önemli adımlar da
atıyor.
Firma ciroları tüm fiyat artışlarına rağmen genel olarak geçen yılın altında kaldı. 2 ay
pandemide can simidi dijitalleşmeyi doğru anlaması ve hayata geçirmesi elzem.
Those who can adapt to the conditions to survive
The world is facing a pandemic that is not clear when it will end yet. The toy industry
has begun to experience completely different conditions amid pandemic. Trade is also
shaped according to these conditions. In this case, toy makers who can quickly adapt
to new conditions will survive.
As one of the most significant issues in this context, the importance of online sales
in the toy industry is increasing day by day. This is actually a trend all over the world.
Our industry must quickly adapt to this issue. Our companies are also taking important
steps in this area.
Despite all price increases, the turnover of the company remained below compared
to the last year in general. The most important factors were that the sales points were
closed for 2 months, the number of customers entering the shopping malls and sales
points decreased by approximately 50 percent compared to the same period of the
previous year and that there were no tourism-related sales in the summer period.
The price increases experienced with the epidemic also caused financial difficulties on
top of the supply problem in the sector. The decrease in imports due to the increase
in the exchange rate, the increase in prices due to the additional taxes of up to 30
percent, combined with the supply problems caused by the pandemic all over the
world, generated a shortage of products. This situation generated a serious problem
in toys, which is a sector dependent on imports at 85 percent in our country as in the
whole world.
In order for the toy industry, which is experiencing all these situations, to see good
days, more support should be given to domestic production. More importantly, it
is essential for toy manufacturers to correctly understand and implement life buoy
digitalization in the pandemic.
