We also spoke with Zoe Fanhmy
after the game.
How are you feeling after that
win?
It has been amazing to play
here. It is one of those pitches
that has so much history from
2012, to be able to kid of relive
that is a dream come true.
Buzzing, absolutely buzzing. I
am elated for the girls for this
win, especially after a successful
and unsuccessful season when
we came second.
After being 1 – 0 down, you
showed great character, how
was you feeling?
It was definitely tense in the first
half, the whole team were on
edge. Formby really came at us
with their A game, and credit to
them they gave us a great battle.
After half time team talk,
everyone got going and showed
what we could do. The second
half, we played amazing!
Must be fantastic playing here at
the Lee Valley in front of your
travelling fans?
