GEORGE BRETT (1973-93)<br />
George Brett is the only Royals player to be<br />
inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame<br />
and was the 1980 American League Most Valuable<br />
Player. He was named to 13 MLB All-Star Games in<br />
his 21-year career, and is the all-time Royals<br />
leader in virtually every offensive category. Brett<br />
was named Royals Player of the Year eight different<br />
times. Brett played for Omaha in 1973-74.<br />
